SF-Tuning LTD – Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. By purchasing from SF-Tuning LTD, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.
KEY POINTS – PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING
• Wheel spacers are usually required. Customers must check fitment using our free templates before ordering.
• Warranty is only valid when parts are installed by an SF-Tuning Approved Installer.
• Self-installation or installation by a non-approved workshop voids all warranties.
• Any track, racing, drifting, competition, or motorsport use voids all warranties.
• Brake noise, vibration, wear, and consumable items are not covered under warranty.
• Customers must not book vehicle workshops, fitting appointments, accommodation, transport, or related services until goods have been received and checked.
• Returns are subject to authorisation and may be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
• Custom, painted, bespoke, special-order, or made-to-order items are non-returnable.
• International orders are supplied under DAP (Delivered At Place) terms. The customer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, customs charges, and related fees.
• Payment processing fees, transaction fees, chargeback fees, and currency conversion costs incurred by SF-Tuning may be deducted from refunds where applicable.
1. WHEEL FITMENT
Most brake kits are designed to fit behind standard and aftermarket wheels; however, wheel spacers are commonly required.
Customers are responsible for checking wheel clearance and compatibility using SF-Tuning's free fitment templates before installation.
If wheel spacers cannot be used, customers should not purchase our brake kits.
SF-Tuning accepts no responsibility for clearance issues, wheel fitment problems, or incompatibilities where templates have not been checked prior to purchase.
2. CUSTOM COLOURS & LOGOS
Certain calipers may be stocked in standard colours including red, yellow, and blue.
Raw calipers may be painted to customer specification. Typical turnaround times are between 3 and 6 weeks but may vary depending on workload and parts availability.
Painted, customised, engraved, modified, or bespoke items are considered custom products and are non-returnable unless defective.
Any modification carried out outside of SF-Tuning approved procedures will void all warranties.
3. WARRANTY
All warranties are conditional upon installation by an SF-Tuning Approved Installer.
Brake systems are critical safety components and must be fitted by an experienced technician authorised by SF-Tuning.
Self-installation or installation by a non-approved workshop immediately voids all warranties.
CALIPERS
Calipers are supplied with a 6-month Return to Base (RTB) warranty when fitted by an SF-Tuning Approved Installer.
The warranty covers inspection, repair, and testing of defective components only.
The customer is responsible for all postage, shipping, insurance, and return delivery costs associated with warranty claims.
The warranty does not cover labour charges, fitting costs, vehicle recovery, vehicle downtime, accommodation, transport, loss of earnings, or consequential losses of any kind.
The warranty is void if:
• The product is used for track days, racing, drifting, competition, or motorsport use.
• Incorrect pads, discs, fluids, or installation methods are used.
• Damage occurs due to incorrect bedding-in procedures.
• Threads are stripped, damaged, or modified during installation.
• The product is installed by a non-approved installer.
All calipers supplied by SF-Tuning are guaranteed free from thread repairs and known defects at the point of sale for your complete peace of mind.
DISCS
Disc warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are only valid when fitted by an SF-Tuning Approved Installer.
SF-Tuning will assist customers with warranty claims where appropriate.
Disc run-out must be checked prior to driving the car and documented with video evidence to send to our suppliers to support your warranty claim. This should be performed with a DTI on the outer edge of both sides of the disc. Try to avoid any patterns during your checks.
Disc warranties are void if:
• Installed incorrectly.
• Installed by a non-approved workshop.
• Used for track, racing, drifting, or competition purposes.
• Drilled discs crack due to heavy or abusive use.
Brake noise, brake vibration, uneven wear, heat spotting, pad deposits, or rotor thickness variation are not covered under warranty.
HOSES
Brake hose warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are valid only when installed by an SF-Tuning Approved Installer.
Warranty claims will not be accepted for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, modification, or accidental damage.
GENERAL WARRANTY CONDITIONS
All warranties are limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts only.
No warranty includes labour costs, fitting charges, shipping costs, vehicle downtime, loss of earnings, accommodation, transport, or any consequential losses.
SF-Tuning's maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the defective item.
4. PRICING
All UK prices include VAT at the prevailing rate.
VAT Registration Number: GB414129624.
Prices exclude shipping, installation costs, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and other destination country charges unless otherwise stated.
For customers outside the United Kingdom, any local taxes, duties, customs charges, brokerage fees, or government-imposed charges remain the sole responsibility of the customer.
Prices may change without notice.
5. PAYMENT
Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Debit Cards, Bank Transfer, PayPal, Stripe, and any other methods displayed at checkout.
Full and accurate billing information must be provided for all payments.
SF-Tuning reserves the right to request alternative payment methods for custom, bespoke, international, or high-value orders.
Where refunds are issued, any card processing fees, payment processor fees, transaction charges, chargeback fees, currency conversion fees, merchant fees, or similar costs not refunded to SF-Tuning by the payment provider may be deducted from the customer's refund.
Fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes may result in legal action and recovery of associated costs.
6. ORDER CANCELLATION BY SF-TUNING
SF-Tuning reserves the right to cancel any order where fulfilment becomes impossible due to supplier shortages, manufacturing issues, pricing errors, technical errors, fraud concerns, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where payment has been received, a refund will be issued.
SF-Tuning shall not be liable for any consequential losses arising from order cancellation.
7. DISPATCH & DELIVERY
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Stock levels are not live-linked with suppliers and availability may change without notice.
If an item becomes unavailable, SF-Tuning will provide an estimated lead time or offer an alternative, as a last resort a refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Customers must not arrange fitting appointments or related services until goods have been received and inspected.
SF-Tuning accepts no responsibility for costs arising from delayed deliveries, supplier shortages, courier delays, or damaged shipments.
Damage, shortages, or delivery discrepancies must be reported within 48 hours of receipt and supported by photographs where requested.
8. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS & IMPORT CHARGES
All international orders are supplied under DAP (Delivered At Place) Incoterms unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Under DAP terms, SF-Tuning is responsible for transporting the goods to the destination country.
The customer is solely responsible for:
• Import duties.
• Customs duties.
• Sales taxes.
• VAT, GST, or local taxes.
• Customs clearance charges.
• Brokerage fees.
• Carrier administration fees.
• Any other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are not included within the product price or shipping charge unless expressly stated otherwise.
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees that import duties and customs charges are their responsibility.
Failure to pay import charges may result in delays, customs holds, destruction of goods, abandonment of goods, or return of goods to SF-Tuning.
If an international shipment is refused, abandoned, returned, or undeliverable due to unpaid import charges, the customer shall remain liable for all costs incurred.
Any refund issued will be subject to deduction of:
• Original shipping costs.
• Return shipping costs.
• Customs charges.
• Import or export fees.
• Carrier administration charges.
• Payment processing fees.
• Any other costs incurred by SF-Tuning.
• A 25% restocking fee.
9. RETURNS & REFUNDS
All returns require prior authorisation from SF-Tuning.
Unauthorised returns may be refused.
Items must be returned unused, uninstalled, unmodified, complete, and in their original packaging.
Items showing signs of installation, use, damage, modification, painting, or missing components are not eligible for refund.
Custom-painted, bespoke, special-order, made-to-order, engraved, or customised products are non-returnable unless defective.
CORRECTLY SUPPLIED GOODS
Returns requested within 14 days of delivery may be accepted subject to:
• Return shipping at the customer's expense.
• Deduction of original shipping costs.
• Deduction of any non-refundable payment processing fees.
• A 5% restocking fee.
Returns requested after 14 days may be accepted at SF-Tuning's sole discretion and will remain subject to the above deductions.
No returns will be accepted more than 28 days after delivery.
INCORRECTLY SUPPLIED GOODS
If SF-Tuning supplies an incorrect item, the customer must notify SF-Tuning within 28 days of delivery.
Provided the item remains unused and in resaleable condition, SF-Tuning will arrange replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.
Used, installed, painted, modified, damaged, or incomplete items are not eligible for return.
10. GENERAL TERMS
All parts must be test-fitted before painting, coating, modification, or installation.
Exchange units supplied to SF-Tuning must be serviceable and suitable for refurbishment.
Goods remain the property of SF-Tuning until paid for in full.
No claims for labour costs, fitting charges, vehicle downtime, accommodation, transport, or consequential losses will be accepted under any circumstances.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
SF-Tuning LTD reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
