SF-Tuning LTD – Terms & Conditions of Sale
Last updated: August 2026
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order with SF-Tuning LTD.
These terms apply to goods purchased directly from SF-Tuning LTD through our website or directly from us. Nothing in these terms is intended to restrict or exclude any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

2. Brake Components & Professional Installation
Brake components are safety-critical vehicle parts.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, our products should be installed by a suitably qualified and competent automotive technician.
The installer is responsible for checking that all components are suitable for the vehicle, correctly installed, correctly torqued and operating safely before the vehicle is driven.
Any modification required during installation must be assessed and carried out by a competent person.
The vehicle must not be driven until the braking system has been correctly installed, bled, inspected and tested.
3. Vehicle Compatibility
We make every reasonable effort to provide accurate vehicle compatibility information.
Vehicle specifications can vary according to model, year, axle, brake package, suspension, wheel specification and previous modifications.
Customers and installers must therefore confirm compatibility before installation.
If you are uncertain whether a product is suitable for your vehicle, please contact us before ordering.
4. Wheel Clearance
Big brake conversions require considerably more wheel clearance than standard brakes. Although we design our kits to work with a wide range of factory and aftermarket wheels, we cannot guarantee clearance with every wheel design.
Wheel diameter alone does not guarantee fitment. Wheel width, offset, spoke profile and internal barrel dimensions can all affect brake clearance, and wheel spacers may therefore be required.
Where available, SF-Tuning provides wheel-clearance templates to help customers check compatibility before ordering or installation. We recommend a minimum of 3mm clearance between the brake caliper and wheel.
Important – Before Disconnecting Your Original Brakes
Wheels must be carefully test-fitted over the new brake setup and checked for adequate clearance before the original brake calipers are disconnected from the brake lines or the braking system is otherwise dismantled.
This allows any wheel-clearance issues to be identified before the vehicle's original braking system is disabled and provides an opportunity to resolve fitment issues before proceeding with the installation.
Customers who cannot or do not wish to use wheel spacers should confirm compatibility using our available wheel-clearance templates before purchasing and before beginning installation.
If you are unsure about wheel fitment or clearance, please contact SF-Tuning before proceeding.
5. Product Appearance
Product photographs are intended to represent our products as accurately as reasonably possible.
Colours can vary depending upon lighting, photography, screen settings, paint batches and manufacturing processes.
Calipers may also vary slightly in casting appearance depending upon the original manufacturer and production batch.
Minor cosmetic differences which do not affect the safety, fitment or function of the component are not necessarily defects.
6. Custom Colours, Logos & Personalisation
Many SF-Tuning products can be supplied in custom colours or with customer-selected logos and lettering.
Lead times vary according to specification and workload.
Where calipers require preparation and painting, typical processing time may be approximately 3–6 weeks, although this is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion or delivery date unless specifically agreed otherwise.
Custom colours may differ slightly from photographs displayed online because of lighting, screen settings and paint or powder-coating batches.
7. Made-to-Order, Bespoke & Personalised Products
A significant proportion of SF-Tuning products are manufactured, machined, modified, painted, sourced or otherwise prepared specifically to a customer's chosen specification.
These products may be exempt from the normal statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights that apply to standard distance-sale goods.
Full details of products that may fall within this category and the applicable return conditions are set out in Section 19 – Made-to-Order & Personalised Returns.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.
If you are unsure whether an item is being produced specifically to your requirements, please contact us before ordering.
8. Order Acceptance
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
We may contact you where additional information is required regarding vehicle specification, brake configuration, colour, wheel fitment or another technical matter.
If we are unable to fulfil an order, we will contact you and refund any payment due.
9. Prices
All prices displayed to UK consumers include VAT where applicable unless clearly stated otherwise.
Our VAT number is GB414129624.
Delivery and installation are not included unless specifically stated.
Prices and product availability may change, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted unless agreed with the customer.
10. Payment
Payment methods available at checkout may include major debit and credit cards and other payment services offered through our payment provider.
We may also accept:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Debit cards
- Bank transfer
- PayPal
- Stripe
- Other agreed payment methods for bespoke or manually processed orders
Orders will normally require payment before goods are dispatched or bespoke manufacturing begins unless trade credit terms have been agreed separately.
For security, customers should not send full debit or credit card details by email, WhatsApp or other messaging services. Card payments should be completed using the secure payment methods provided by us.
11. Stock Availability
We work with several manufacturers and suppliers, and our website does not necessarily have live access to every supplier's stock level.
An item displayed as available may therefore occasionally become temporarily unavailable.
If this happens, we will contact you with the expected lead time and available options.
For standard goods, this may include waiting for stock or cancelling the affected item or order where applicable.
Made-to-order products are subject to their agreed production arrangements.
12. Lead Times
Any lead time shown on our website or provided by us is an estimate unless we have expressly agreed a guaranteed delivery date.
Custom painting, machining, manufacturing and supplier availability can affect completion dates.
If you require goods for a particular date, please contact us before ordering.
13. Dispatch & Delivery
UK orders are normally sent using a tracked and insured courier service.
International orders are sent using an appropriate tracked international service.
The delivery service used may vary according to parcel dimensions, weight, destination and service availability.
Tracking information will normally be provided where available.
Once a parcel has been dispatched, delivery times quoted by the courier are normally estimates unless a guaranteed delivery service has specifically been purchased.
Multiple Parcels & Separate Deliveries
Due to the size and weight of brake discs, discs will often be dispatched separately and directly from the manufacturer or one of our supply partners.
As a result, your order may arrive in multiple parcels and on different days. Your brake discs may arrive before or after your calipers, brake pads, hoses or other components. This is completely normal and does not necessarily mean that any part of your order is missing or delayed.
Please allow time for all parcels forming your order to arrive and check any tracking information provided before contacting us regarding missing components.
14. Installation Appointments
Please do not book an installation appointment until your complete order has arrived and you have checked all parts.
As outlined in Section 13, components within the same order may be dispatched separately and can arrive on different days.
We strongly recommend waiting until every component has been received, inspected and confirmed as correct before arranging installation, taking time off work or making any other arrangements dependent upon delivery.
Where permitted by law, SF-Tuning will not be responsible for avoidable third-party costs or losses, including:
- Missed installation appointments
- Garage or labour charges
- Vehicle downtime
- Time taken off work
This applies where arrangements have been made before the complete order has been received and checked.
If you believe any component is missing, damaged or incorrect, please contact us before installation so that we have the opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights or excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
15. International Orders
SF-Tuning ships products internationally.
Depending upon the destination and the tax treatment applied to the order, customers may be required to pay local VAT, customs duties, import charges, brokerage fees or other destination-country charges.
Unless expressly included in the amount charged by SF-Tuning, these charges are the customer's responsibility.
Customers are responsible for checking any local import requirements before ordering.
Failure to pay destination-country import charges may result in the parcel being delayed, refused or returned.
Where a parcel is returned because the recipient has refused or failed to pay applicable import charges, any refund legally due may be adjusted for costs we are legally entitled to recover.
16. Returns – Standard Products
For eligible standard products purchased online by consumers, you normally have 14 days after receiving the goods to tell us that you wish to cancel.
After notifying us, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Please contact SF-Tuning before returning anything so that we can provide the appropriate return details.
Unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or we agree otherwise, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning unwanted goods.
You should take reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession.
You may inspect goods to establish their nature, characteristics and suitability in a similar way to how you could reasonably inspect them in a shop.
If goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and their value has consequently been reduced, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.
17. Return Condition
Where a return is made under the statutory change-of-mind provisions, customers should return all supplied components, accessories and packaging where reasonably possible.
Customers may inspect goods only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and suitability.
Brake calipers that have been connected to the vehicle's hydraulic system or filled with brake fluid are considered used. Brake fluid can contaminate internal components and painted or coated surfaces, and the caliper can no longer be sold as a new, unused product.
For this reason, customers should carefully confirm fitment, specification and wheel clearance before connecting the brake hoses or introducing brake fluid into the calipers.
Evidence of installation or use may include:
- Brake fluid inside or on the caliper
- Brake hoses having been connected
- Bolt, socket or tool marks
- Grease, assembly paste or thread-locking compound
- Marks from brake pads or discs
- Damaged paint or coatings
- Damaged threads
- Modified, machined or altered components
Where a product has been installed, used or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, and this has diminished its value, we reserve the right to make an appropriate deduction from any refund, up to the full value where legally permitted and where the goods have no reasonable resale value as new.
This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, incorrectly supplied, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.
18. Refunds for Cancelled Standard Orders
Where a consumer validly exercises their statutory right to cancel an eligible distance-sale order, any refund due will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law.
The refund will normally include:
- The price paid for the eligible returned goods
- The cost of our least expensive standard delivery service offered for the order
If the customer selected an enhanced, express, timed or other premium delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional delivery cost above the price of our standard delivery option.
The cost of returning unwanted goods to SF-Tuning is the customer's responsibility, unless the goods are faulty, incorrectly supplied or we have agreed otherwise.
Where goods have been handled, installed or used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them, we may make an appropriate deduction for any reduction in value, as detailed in Section 17 – Return Condition.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed or this is not reasonably possible.
Payment processing, card or merchant fees will not be deducted where doing so would conflict with the customer's statutory cancellation or refund rights.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
19. Made-to-Order & Personalised Returns
Products genuinely made, manufactured, modified, painted, sourced or prepared to the customer's specification, or which are clearly personalised, are not normally eligible for change-of-mind cancellation or return.
This may include:
- Brake hoses manufactured to the customer's specification, including:
- Custom lengths
- Fittings
- Configurations
- Colours
- Vehicle-specific requirements
- Custom-painted calipers, including customer-selected colours, finishes, logos or lettering
- Non-standard or specially sourced calipers ordered specifically for the customer's application or requirements
- Bespoke brake packages assembled or configured specifically to the customer's requirements
- Custom-manufactured adaptor brackets or components
- Brake discs specifically machined, redrilled or otherwise modified for the customer's application
- Components specially manufactured or modified to suit the customer's vehicle or requirements
- Other genuinely customer-specific or personalised configurations
Customers are responsible for checking and confirming all specifications provided to us before placing an order. For custom brake hoses in particular, customers should ensure that any lengths, fitting types, fitting orientations and configurations they provide are correct.
Production, sourcing, painting, machining or modification may begin shortly after an order is accepted. Once work has commenced on a bespoke, personalised or customer-specific product, cancellation may not be possible.
Where a product has already been completed to the customer's agreed specification, it cannot normally be returned simply because the customer has changed their mind, ordered incorrectly or no longer requires the product.
This exclusion relates to change-of-mind cancellation and return rights only.
It does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, incorrectly manufactured against the agreed specification, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.
20. Incorrect, Incomplete or Damaged Deliveries
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably practical after delivery.
If an item appears damaged, incorrect or incomplete, contact us as soon as possible.
Photographs of the following may help us investigate the issue quickly:
- External packaging
- Shipping label
- Internal packaging
- Damaged area
- Parts and contents received
Do not install a component that you believe may be damaged or incorrect.
If we have supplied an incorrect item, please give us the opportunity to rectify the problem before modifying, installing or purchasing replacement components elsewhere.
21. Faulty Goods & Statutory Rights
SF-Tuning products must meet the standards required by applicable UK consumer law.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights relating to goods which are faulty, not as described, not of satisfactory quality or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.
Our commercial warranties are provided in addition to your statutory rights and do not replace them.
22. SF-Tuning Caliper Warranty
In addition to your statutory rights, SF-Tuning provides a 6-month Return-to-Base (RTB) commercial warranty on eligible brake calipers supplied by us.
Where a claim is made under this additional warranty, the caliper may be inspected and tested and, where appropriate, repaired or replaced.
Warranty assessment may require the caliper to be returned to SF-Tuning before a decision can be made.
The commercial warranty does not cover damage or faults caused by circumstances including:
- Incorrect installation
- Incorrect torque
- Cross-threading, damaged or stripped threads
- Impact or accidental damage
- Unsuitable, incorrect or contaminated brake fluid
- Contamination
- Incorrect or unsuitable brake pads or discs
- Unauthorised modification or alteration
- Abuse, misuse or neglect
- Excessive thermal loading or overheating
- Competition or track use unless expressly approved for that product
- Failure to follow supplied installation, maintenance or bedding-in instructions
Returning Calipers for Inspection
All calipers must be fully drained of brake fluid before being packaged and returned to SF-Tuning.
To drain the caliper, gradually open the bleed nipples and allow the remaining brake fluid to flow out through the brake hose connection or port into a suitable waste container. Care must be taken to prevent brake fluid from contacting the painted or coated surfaces of the caliper.
Once drained:
- Close the bleed nipples without overtightening
- Ensure the brake hose connection or port is no longer leaking fluid
- Carefully clean any brake fluid from the exterior of the caliper
- Seal or protect the brake hose connection or port where appropriate
- Package the caliper securely to prevent movement, damage or leakage during transit
Brake fluid can damage painted and coated surfaces. Fluid remaining inside a caliper may leak during transportation, potentially damaging the paint or coating, contaminating the packaging or other components, and resulting in the courier refusing or restricting the shipment.
SF-Tuning cannot accept responsibility for paint, coating or other cosmetic damage caused by brake fluid being left in, spilled onto or allowed to leak from a caliper during return transportation, except where we are legally responsible.
Brake fluid must be collected in a suitable container and disposed of responsibly. It must not be poured into drains or onto the ground.
This 6-month commercial warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights and does not restrict, replace or otherwise affect those rights.
23. Track & Competition Use
Unless expressly advertised as suitable for motorsport, SF-Tuning products and our standard commercial warranties are intended for road-going applications.
Track and competition driving can subject braking components to temperatures and loads considerably beyond normal road use.
Damage attributable to excessive heat, inappropriate pad or disc combinations, inadequate bedding-in, insufficient cooling, competition use or other abnormal operating conditions is not covered by our standard commercial warranty.
Nothing in this section excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
24. Brake Disc Warranty & Heat Damage
Brake discs are consumable friction components.
Their service life depends upon numerous factors, including:
- Vehicle weight
- Driving style
- Pad compound
- Operating temperature
- Installation
- Hub preparation
- Disc runout
- Bedding-in
- Vehicle use
- Caliper condition
Evidence of overheating, incorrect bedding, contamination, excessive runout, uneven pad deposits or other installation or usage-related damage is not necessarily evidence of a manufacturing defect.
Claims relating to brake discs may require photographs, measurements and/or inspection before a cause can be established.
Where appropriate, we may liaise with the disc manufacturer as part of the warranty assessment.
25. Drilled Brake Discs
Drilled brake discs provide a distinctive appearance and performance characteristics but can be more susceptible to thermal stress around drilled holes when subjected to severe temperatures.
Minor heat checking may occur under demanding use.
Cracking or other damage resulting from excessive thermal loading, competition use or operation beyond the intended specification is not considered a manufacturing defect.
For particularly demanding applications, we may recommend grooved, C-hook or another appropriate disc design.
Customers intending to subject their brakes to particularly demanding use should contact us before ordering so we can recommend the most appropriate disc and pad combination.
26. Brake Hoses
Brake hoses must be installed without twisting, stretching, rubbing or interference throughout the full range of steering and suspension movement.
The installer must confirm correct hose routing before the vehicle is driven.
Any manufacturer's warranty supplied with a brake hose is additional to the customer's statutory rights against SF-Tuning where applicable.
Please contact us first if you experience a problem with a hose supplied by us.
27. Installation & Bedding-In
Correct installation and bedding-in are essential to brake performance and component life.
Customers and installers must follow the installation and bedding-in instructions supplied with the relevant components.
Before driving, the installer must ensure:
- All fasteners are correctly tightened to the required torque
- Appropriate thread-locking compound has been used where specified
- Brake lines are correctly routed
- There are no fluid leaks
- The braking system has been properly bled
- The brake pedal is firm
- Wheels rotate freely
- Adequate wheel-to-caliper clearance exists
- Pads and discs are correctly installed
- The braking system operates correctly
New pads and discs require an appropriate bedding-in period.
Customers should allow increased braking distances during the initial bedding-in period and follow any bedding-in instructions supplied with their pads or brake package.
28. Modified Components
Do not modify an SF-Tuning component unless the modification is specifically required by our installation instructions or has been approved by us.
Unauthorised machining, drilling, grinding, welding or other modification may make a component unsafe and may affect any applicable commercial warranty.
Any modification necessary as part of an approved installation should be performed by a competent person in accordance with the relevant instructions.
This does not affect statutory rights relating to faults that existed independently of the modification.
29. Painted Products
Where a component is purchased unpainted and is subsequently painted, powder-coated or otherwise refinished by the customer or a third party, we strongly recommend that fitment is confirmed before finishing.
Once an item has been modified, painted or otherwise altered by the customer, this may affect the remedies available for issues unrelated to an original defect.
Custom-painted products supplied directly by SF-Tuning are subject to the made-to-order and personalised product provisions above.
30. Labour & Third-Party Costs
If you believe a product is faulty or incorrect, please contact SF-Tuning before authorising third-party repair, modification or replacement work wherever reasonably possible.
This allows us an opportunity to inspect the component and determine an appropriate remedy.
Except where we are legally responsible, SF-Tuning does not automatically reimburse:
- Third-party labour
- Vehicle recovery
- Loss of use
- Missed appointments
- Time off work
- Workshop charges
- Other consequential expenses
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
31. Ownership of Goods
Where permitted by law, ownership of goods remains with SF-Tuning LTD until payment has been received in full.
Risk and responsibility for goods pass in accordance with applicable law.
32. Our Right to Cancel
Occasionally circumstances outside our reasonable control may prevent us from supplying an order.
These circumstances may include supplier failure, product discontinuation, manufacturing problems or other events beyond our reasonable control.
If we are unable to supply goods, we may cancel the affected order and notify you.
Where we cancel an order, we will refund amounts paid for goods we cannot supply.
Nothing in this provision affects rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.
33. Business & Trade Customers
Consumer cancellation rights described in these terms apply to consumers and do not necessarily apply to purchases made wholly or mainly for business purposes.
Separate trade terms, warranty arrangements, reseller agreements or agreed account conditions may apply to business customers.
34. Contacting SF-Tuning
If you have a question regarding vehicle compatibility, wheel clearance, installation, delivery, returns, warranty or a potential fault, please contact us before proceeding where possible.

35. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing contained within these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or replace rights available to consumers under applicable UK law.
Where there is any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and rights which cannot legally be excluded or restricted, your statutory rights will apply.
