BRAIDED BRAKE LINES

Braided brake lines provide the flexible hydraulic connection between the vehicle and brake caliper while using external reinforcement to help control hose expansion as brake pressure increases.

Our lines are made in-house by SF-Tuning using HEL Performance UK-made stainless steel fittings. This gives us greater control over the hoses we supply and allows us to build lines around the actual vehicles and conversions we work with rather than relying solely on generic off-the-shelf applications.

That becomes particularly important with OEM-derived big brake conversions. A Porsche, Brembo, Audi or other performance caliper may use a completely different connection, mounting arrangement or orientation from the original vehicle caliper.

Correct hose length, fitting type, angle and routing all matter. The line needs to connect correctly while allowing for steering and suspension movement without being stretched, twisted or positioned where it can rub.
