2-PIECE PERFORMANCE DISCS

Two-piece brake discs separate the friction ring from the centre bell, allowing each component to be designed specifically for the job it needs to perform. This gives considerably more freedom when developing a high-performance brake package than relying entirely on an existing single-piece production rotor.

Depending on the design, two-piece construction can offer benefits including reduced unnecessary mass, improved thermal behaviour and greater flexibility in disc sizing and offset.

For SF-Tuning, one of the biggest advantages is engineering freedom. Bell geometry can be developed around the vehicle, hub and chosen caliper, allowing combinations that would otherwise be difficult or impossible with an off-the-shelf disc.

WHY SF-TUNING?

Since 2017, SF-Tuning has focused on finding better ways to combine exceptional braking components. Two-piece discs are a natural extension of that philosophy.

Instead of selecting a large rotor and hoping everything lines up, we obsess over bell offset, friction-ring dimensions, caliper position, pad contact, cooling and vehicle fitment as one complete system.
