BRAKE CALIPER ADAPTOR KITS
Almost every OEM-derived big brake conversion relies on one critical component that never came with the original caliper: the adaptor bracket that connects it to your vehicle's hub.
A Porsche, Brembo, Audi or Bentley caliper was never designed to bolt directly to a Golf, Transporter or Caddy. An adaptor kit bridges that gap, precisely positioning the caliper relative to the disc so that pad contact, piston alignment and mounting geometry are all correct.
Getting this wrong isn't a minor issue. Incorrect adaptor geometry can cause uneven pad wear, poor bedding-in, vibration or contact between the caliper and disc or wheel — problems that are difficult to diagnose if you don't know the adaptor itself is the cause.
SF-Tuning designs and manufactures adaptor kits in-house, engineered specifically around the caliper, disc and vehicle combination for each conversion we develop — not adapted from a generic template.
